Saltmarsh Restoration Project
 

In August of 2001, Eastern Charlotte Waterways, with the help of community members and Government agencies restored the natural flow of the Salt Marsh at Mac’s Beach in Little Lepreau by restoring the natural flow of a fresh water stream that had been redirected. The Restoration project included a significant marsh cleanup involving community members.
